You are in charge. Your future is in your hands.

How Affirmations Work

The Power of the Human Mind

The way that affirmations work is very simple: they work in accordance with the power of the human mind.

You can use affirmations to help you achieve your unlimited possibilities.

What you think about, you become. Whatever thoughts you put out into the universe attract your results.

Your life will reflect your habitual thoughts. This pertains to your money, your relationships, your health - every area and aspect of your life.

Your habitual patterns of thought about money will create your money story. They will dictate how money acts in your life. This is because money has no power in and of itself. It does what we tell it to do.

Positive Money Affirmations

Affirmations for Attracting Financial Success

You can use affirmations to attract money and financial success. Here are a few positive money affirmations:

I am attracting all the money I want and need now.

I always have plenty of money now.

I always have plenty of extra money now.

I am magnetic to money and financial success now.

I deserve to have financial success now.

I deserve to be financially successful now.

I deserve to have plenty of money now.

How to Use Affirmations

Affirmations should always be said in the present tense - as if they are happening now. Your new thoughts are creating your new reality.

Affirmations work through repetition. It has often taken many years for us to develop our negative habits and patterns of thought, emotion and belief. So shifting them requires effort.

We may need to repeat the new, positive thoughts many times in order to plant them in our unconscious minds.

It helps to say them over and over again, 10-20 times a day for up to 30 days. We can also write or type them. Recording them on an audio cassette or with a digital recorder, then playing them back every day, is a powerful method of using affirmations.

You can also write your key affirmations on cards and carry them with you, looking at them several times through the day.

The best time to use affirmations is first thing in the morning and last thing at night. If you say them while looking at yourself in the mirror, they will be mor powerful.

Within 30 days, you should start to see an improvement.

Going Deeper

Sometimes we need to go deeper

Sometimes we need to go deeper in order to attract what we want. This could apply to you if you have been working on something for a long time and are not happy with your results.

For more about this, see: Change Your Life with Core Conditioning.

The Problem with Affirmations

Why Affirmations Don't Work

The problem with affirmations is that we don't get instant results. We can't just start doing affirmations and immediately see the kinds of results we want to see. So we get discouraged.

As soon as we start moving in a positive direction, we immediately become more aware of our negative thoughts, tendencies, habits and beliefs. They come up for us BIG TIME. But don't freak out. This is just part of the process.

To read more about this, see: Why Affirmations Don't Work.

The Law of Attraction

Using Affirmations with the Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction states that we attract things into our lives in accordance with our level of vibration.

Affirmations are one of the most practical ways to use the Law of Attraction.

Any negative thoughts lurking in your conscious or unconscious mind will attract negative results.

Simply change the negative thoughts to positives and you will begin to see positive results manifest in your life.

See also: Money and the Law of Attraction.

Affirmations work with our thoughts, while the Law of Attraction works in accordance with our feelings and emotions. So we need to work with both our thoughts and our feelings in order to bring about positive change.

Negative Beliefs about Money

Examples of Negative Money Beliefs

These are some examples of negative beliefs you may have about money and financial wealth:

Money doesn't grow on trees.

I have to work hard to have money.

I never have enough.

Money is a struggle.

I feel anxious about money.

I feel anxious and worried about paying my bills/rent/mortgage.

Rich people are dishonest/greedy/untrustworthy, etc.

These are just a few examples. You can probably think of others. As soon as you start to use affirmations to improve your money situation, you are guaranteed to become more aware of your negative thoughts. Don't worry - this is just part of the process.

For more about this, see my free 3-Step Process for Success in the Resources section, below.

For more about how to change our negative belief habits and develop positive mental habits, see: Achieving Fabulous Success.

Negative Thoughts about Affirmations

When you start to do affirmations, you will become aware of your negative thoughts about the affirmations process. For example, you might think:

This doesn't work.

Affirmations don't work.

This is silly.

What kind of an idiot would think this would work?

Affirmations might work for other people, but not for me.

I tried this before but it didn't work. I give up.

If you have similar thoughts to this, you need to keep going. Don't give up. To read more, see: Why Affirmations Don't Work.

I find most people give up too quickly. When I was teaching six-week courses, I would tell people they would see results by the end of the six weeks. But people would often give up after 2-3 days.

You need to stick with the process if you really want to change your results.

You also need to know that you deserve to have the very best.

Positive Affirmations for Self-Love

In order to attract abundant success, you need to know deep down that you deserve it.

These are a few affirmations for self-love:

I love myself n0w.

I deserve the very best now.

I love everything about myself now.

I love myself more and more every day now.

I love my body now.

I love my body more and more every day now.

I am totally lovable now.

My body is totally lovable now.

I love everything about my body now.

I deserve to be radiantly healthy now.

I deserve to have a wonderful life now.

I deserve to have love, joy and fun in my life now.

Negative Thoughts about Visualization

Problems with Visualizing

Visualization - the ability to picture or imagine what we want - is one of the most powerful, profound ways of bringing about positive change.

But many people struggle with visualizing.

To find out what to do about this, see: Why Visualization Doesn't Work. Plus, see the positive affirmations in the section below.

Some negative thoughts you may have about visualization may include:

I can't visualize.

This is too hard.

Other people can do this, but I can't.

Visualization doesn't work for me.

Positive Affirmations for Visualization

We can use affirmations to help us visualize the outcomes we want.

We can use positive affirmations to help us visualize the outcomes we want.

For example:

I can visualize easily now.

I am learning how to visualize easily now.

I see myself achieving my goals now.

I picture myself attracting X amount of money now (substitute your desired amount for the "X").

I see myself as financially successful now.

I picture myself having a healthy, fit body now.

I see myself becoming healthier and fitter now.

The Implications of This Work

Tackling Global Poverty and Hunger

The more we address and solve our own issues, the more we can help others to do the same.

The implications of this are profound. Poverty is on the increase. Even in the United States, one of the most affluent countries on the planet, many people go to bed hungry every night. Many children don't know whether or not they will eat tomorrow. For more about this, see

Hungry in America. .

We must learn how to manifest successfully so that we can help others to do so as well, Global prosperity is achievable.
